Security & Privacy
Your Google Business Profile, domain, DNS, and Google Ads account belong to you and stay in your name for as long as we work together. We request the access we need to manage campaigns, optimize listings, and handle your calls — nothing more. Every account we touch requires multi-factor authentication, and every call is recorded with a disclosure at the start of the conversation. If you ever decide to leave, we give you a 30-day window to export your call data, recordings, and performance history.
What You Own vs. What We Access
Here’s a plain list of the accounts and assets that belong to you, and what access we ask for to do the work.
- Google Business Profile — You own it, and it stays in your name. We request manager access so we can optimize the listing, publish updates, and respond to reviews. When our work together ends, we remove our access and the profile stays exactly where it was.
- Domain host — You own it, and it stays in your name. We request the access needed to make changes on your behalf. When our work together ends, we remove our access.
- DNS manager — You own it, and it stays in your name. We request the access needed to manage your DNS records. When our work together ends, we remove our access.
- Local Service Ads account — You own it, and it stays in your name. We request manager access to run and optimize campaigns. When our work together ends, we remove our access.
- Your website — You own it. See “If You Leave Us” below for how migration works.
On Google Ads: you have full visibility into how your campaigns perform — spend, leads, cost per lead, conversions, and call volume. We report on all of it throughout the engagement, and you can request an export at any time. You see the same numbers we do.
How We Protect Account Access
Multi-factor authentication is required on every account where the platform supports it. Access is limited to the team members actively working on your account. When a team member leaves Water Restoration Marketing, they lose access to every client account, asset, and data source immediately. When our engagement with you ends, we remove our access from every account you own.
Call Recordings and Call Data
Call recording is on by default. Every call opens with a recording disclosure before the conversation begins, so callers know before they speak.
- Who can access recordings — You can, any time, through your own login to the call tracking platform. On our side, access is limited to the team members working on your account — recordings are not available company-wide.
- Retention — Recordings are kept for at least one year while your services are active, and you can access or download them at any point during that time through your login.
- Deletion on request — You can request deletion of your call data at any time, and we’ll work with you on it.
- Caller deletion requests — If a homeowner or caller asks you to delete their data, send the request to us and we’ll act on it. Several states give consumers deletion rights over their own data — those rights aren’t discretionary, and we honor them.
If You Leave Us
Here’s exactly what happens to your accounts and your data.
- Your website — Once your minimum payment term is complete, you can migrate your site to a host of your choice.
- Your tracking numbers — You can port them out if you choose.
- Your call data, recordings, and historical performance data — Available throughout your term. On request, we provide a 30-day window after your term ends to export all of it. That’s a commitment, not a courtesy.
- Your Google Business Profile, domain, DNS, and Local Service Ads account — Yours throughout. We simply remove our access.
- Your Google Ads account — Your performance data is yours to export. Campaign architecture built during the engagement stays with us.
Website Hosting and Maintenance
For sites we host, we run regular backups, keep the platform and plugins updated, and perform routine security checks as part of ongoing maintenance. This applies when hosting and maintenance services are part of your engagement.
How We Use AI With Your Data
We use AI to review and aggregate your call and campaign data, surfacing patterns across lead volume, call quality, and campaign performance that manual review would miss. That means you get insight into your own business you wouldn’t otherwise have — which sources produce booked jobs, where calls are being lost, and how your performance is trending over time.
